According to the National Law Journal, the legal profession has lost an estimated 16,000 jobs in the past year.

But what about the lawyers who remain employed in the legal profession who are looking for a career change?

Legal career consultant Dave Behrend claims that thousands of unhappy lawyers continue to practice every day, despite the fact that they wish they were doing something else.

However, Behrend says that there is hope for those who take stock of their skills, knowledge and interests, and seek relevant career opportunities.
